What We Do

When a California family court orders supervised visitation, a neutral third-party monitor must be present during visits between a parent and child to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the child. At By The People, we provide professional supervised visitation monitoring services in accordance with California law and court order requirements.

Our monitoring services are provided by a trained professional who maintains detailed records of each visit, ensures compliance with court-ordered terms, and provides written reports as required by the court.

Who We Help

We assist parents and families throughout California who have been ordered by a court to conduct visitation under professional supervision. This may include situations involving safety concerns, high-conflict custody disputes, or cases where a parent is reestablishing a relationship with a child after a period of separation.

We serve clients in person from our Ridgecrest office and can coordinate monitored visits throughout Kern County, Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, Los Angeles County, and Ventura County. Remote monitoring via video call is also available where permitted by court order.

We are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice. All document preparation services are provided at your specific direction, as permitted under California Business and Professions Code sections 6400 to 6415.

What is Included

Our professional supervised visitation monitoring services include the following, in accordance with your court order and at the direction of the parties and the court.

On-Site Visit Monitoring
